DEFENSIVE RIDING TRAINING
Keep Road Safe
In India during the year 2009 statistics reveals that among recorded cases motorcyclists fatalities alone accounts 26,219 persons (20.7%) riding on ‘Two-wheelers’. One of the main reasons of riders killed in crashes is the somewhat exposed by nature of riding motorcycles. Motorcycles present very little protection to the rider in a crash situation. Motorcycles do not have any "cushioning" to soften the impact of a crash. Cars, on the other hand, occupants are protected from impact by car shell, seat belts and airbags. Cars have windshield wipers to help visibility in the rain. Cars are more stable since they are on four wheels and their size makes them easier to be seen. |

Motorcycles offer manoeuvre ability, quickness and ability to swerve quickly when necessary. However, these very characteristics also make them particularly vulnerable on the roads. Riders are less protected therefore are at risk of more serious bodily injury if involved in an accident, regardless of whether they were at fault. Severe head and brain injuries often occur in motorcycle accidents and motorcycle riders are 20 times more likely to be killed in a road accident than car occupants. |

On Road Riding Test (Physically by each partic, sment whereby, we test and understand the knowledge and ability of the driver on awareness issues, behavioural pattern as well as a psychological analysis. Road test is to determine how a driver will perform as per IRSFM criterion. We consider a route that includes exposure to routine road hazards likely to encounter on a day-to-day basis. Therefore we include minor & major roads, bridges, grades, overpasses, school or market zones, railroad crossings, controlled intersections, left turns, right turns, reversing and parking situations. |
